Classic spaghetti carbonara gets a fresh twist with smoky bacon, sweet peas, and a silky Parmesan egg sauce that coats every strand.

Ingredients
8 oz.Anthony's® Spaghetti
2 eggs
4 bacon, diced
1/2 cupfrozen peas
3 garlic clove, minced
1 cupgrated Parmesan cheese, divided
Directions
1Prepare pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
2Whisk eggs together in a small bowl; set aside.
3Cook bacon over medium heat 3 to 4 minutes; drain excess drippings. Add frozen peas and stir for another 3 to 4 minutes or until just cooked through.
4Add chopped garlic to bacon and pea mixture and cook about 1 minute (do not burn garlic).
5Reduce heat to low and quickly stir in cooked pasta, egg mixture, 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, and toss. Stir in reserved pasta water a little at a time until creamy.
6Turn off heat and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste.
7Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.
