Spaghetti with Classic Italian Sauce

Spoon this Italian sauce with onions and bell peppers over spaghetti for a classic combination full of texture and flavor.

16 ounces Anthony's® Spaghetti

1-1/2 pounds ground Italian sausage

1 cup onion, chopped

3/4 cup green bell pepper, chopped

2 (26-ounce) jars pasta sauce, any flavor

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


1Cook pasta according to package directions; drain well.

2While pasta is cooking, brown sausage in a large skillet. Pour off excess fat.

3Add onion and bell pepper; cook and stir until tender.

4Add pasta sauce to skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5Pour sauce over hot pasta, top with grated Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
