Bacon Ranch Chicken and Pasta Skillet combines zesty ranch and savory bacon flavors in this one-pan pasta dish that is sure to become a family favorite!
12 ounces Anthony's® Ziti
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
6 slices center-cut or turkey bacon
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
3 cups low sodium chicken broth
1 1/2 cups milk
2 teaspoon all-purpose flour
1 packet (.4 oz) dry ranch dressing mix
1Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add bacon and cook until crisp. Remove bacon to paper towels; cool and crumble. Set aside.
2Add chicken to the skillet and cook, stirring frequently, until chicken is browned on all sides.
3Add chicken broth to skillet and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to maintain a simmer and add uncooked ziti.
4Cook, covered, stirring frequently for 10 minutes or until pasta is done.
5In a medium bowl, whisk together milk, flour and dry ranch dressing mix.
6Add mixture to pasta and cook, stirring frequently, until slightly thickened. Gently stir in bacon. Serve immediately.
Add 3 diced Roma tomatoes, just before serving or use rotisserie chicken for a quick mealtime idea.
