This rich and cheesy sauce is easier than you think!
8 ounces Anthony's® Fettuccine
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
1 clove chopped garlic or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
1-1/4 cups light cream or half and half, divided
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Dash salt
1Cook pasta according to package directions; drain well.
2Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for about one minute until aromatic.
3Stir in 3/4 cup of cream or half and half, and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until mixture begins to thicken.
4Stir in remaining 1/2 cup of cream, cheese, salt, and pepper until combined and cheese is melted.
5Toss pasta and sauce together, serve immediately.
Cook’s Tips: Top with a sprinkle of shredded Parmesan cheese or additional pepper. Add cooked chicken or shrimp to make a meal.
