Penne with Sausage & Peppers

Ingredients
- 12 oz Anthony's Penne
- 1 lb bulk Italian sausage
- 2 green bell peppers, cut into thin strips
- 1 jar (26 oz) spaghetti sauce
- 1 container (10 oz) Italian cheese & herb flavored cooking cream
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
- Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat until done; stirring frequently to crumble meat.
- Add peppers and continue to cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add spaghetti sauce and cooking cream and heat over medium-low heat until heated through, stirring frequently. Add drained pasta and gently stir to blend.
- Sprinkle with shredded Parmesan or Mozzarella cheese before serving, if desired. Substitute 1 container (12 oz) whipped cream cheese and 1 1/2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning or dried basil leaves for the cooking cream, if desired.
