Braised Pork Chops & Penne Sorrento

Ingredients

1 (16-ounce) package Anthony’s® Penne Rigate
1 large green bell pepper, cut into strips
1 large red bell pepper, cut into strips
1 large onion, cut into wedges
3 tablespoons olive oil
8 (3/4-inch thick) center-cut pork chops
Salt and pepper
Flour
1 (32-ounce) jar pasta sauce, any flavor
¾ cup dry white wine
½ teaspoon dried thyme leaves

Directions

Cook penne as package directs; drain. In large skillet, over medium-high heat, cook peppers and onion in 2 tablespoons oil until tender-crisp; remove from skillet. Season pork chops lightly with salt and pepper; coat with flour. In same skillet add remaining 1 tablespoon oil; brown pork chops. Reduce heat; add pasta sauce, wine and thyme. Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until pork chops are tender, stirring occasionally. Add vegetable mixture; heat through. Serve with hot penne.
